Racketlon season 2010 is here. The coming months will bring with them some exciting and fun challenges in the form of the newest sport to hit the Cape Shores. The events will be well organized and a social day for all. Exercising and enjoying time with friends and family is the order of the day.

The new Racketlon South Africa website has been launched  and is packed with National and collage sm.jpg local  news and info on Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Tennis and naturally Racketlon. Why not check out the chat section and discuss the likes, dislikes and compare your favorite racket sport. There’s no better time than now to start training and improving one self.

2009 Racketlon season saw David Darlington finish number 1 position with a good performance in all the tournaments.Iris Gable toped the ladies board. Juniors category finished with Mitchell Nixon at top. SA Open Men’s winner was newcomer Douglas Webber. Ladies winner another newcomer Suzanne Ferreira and Juniors winner David Levin. The 3rd Cape Open and WP Open saw Patric kalous fend off Belford Hendricks and Richard Gore respectively. WP open Ladies winner Iris Gabel narrowly beat Stacey Doubell and Junior winner was Jamie Mcmanus. 3rd Cape Open ladies winner was Danielle v Niekerk beating Jenny Houston. Junior victor was Mitchell Nixon beating Angelo Yiatses.

Congratulations to all the winners. May there be many more.

The first ever Non-European Racketlon summit General Secretary of Indian Racketlon Mishra Manoranjan and Patric Kalous from South Africa met with Hong Kong President CM Chan in Hong Kong to discuss Racketlon development outside Europe. read more

In what is referred to as the “Grand Finale”, The International Racketlon Federation hold the World Championships at the end of each year. 2010 sees this amazing end to the year inHolland. Gold medals and the title of Best Racket player in the world will be up for the taking. Sweden dominates but SA hasn’t competed yet and will do so for the first time in history.

Racketlon will be attempting to reach all grass roots and under privelaged groups to join in the fun and be a part of our community. 2010 will be our year, South Africa will shine
